You can insure a dog or cat that is 7 weeks old and under the age of 8 years. A pet's microchip number, a health book, and passing a medical survey verifying the pet's current health condition are required to join the insurance.
Yes, you can enroll in the insurance at the time that you purchase any Pethelp veterinary package. Alternatively, if the Pethelp veterinary package is already "in progress," you can join in the Pethelp+ insurance up to 90 days after the date that the veterinary package was purchased (in this case, the insurance will expire on the date that the Pethelp veterinary package is completed, meaning that both services will end simultaneously).
No, if the payment is not made on the day that the next payout for the monthly continuation of the insurance (applies to monthly payments), the insurance cover expires and cannot be restored.
There are three insurance options available, each with a different amount of veterinary care expenses covered:
- basic up to 5,000 PLN
- medium up to 25,000 PLN
- comfort up to 50,000 PLN
You may also choose the range of procedures covered by insurance by selecting one of the following options:
- mini - providing coverage in the event of an accident
- maximum - providing coverage in the event of an accident and sudden illness
You can also select a variant that includes insurance in the event of a pet's death.
In the event of an incident, you should contact the Help Center immediately. The consultant will direct you to a veterinary facility that will be able to help your pet under your Pethelp+ insurance after verifying the validity of the insurance cover, the scope of insurance, and conducting a brief interview.
In the case of services organized by the Help Center, the costs are typically covered directly between the Help Center and the clinic, with no involvement of your funds.
If you go to a veterinary facility on your own without notifying the Help Center, and you cover the costs of services provided by a veterinarian, you will be able to apply for a refund of the costs incurred in justified cases (according to the scope of your insurance). To do so, contact the Help Center, where a consultant will inform you of the documents that must be submitted.
In the case of a parallel purchase with the PetHelp veterinary package, the insurance period is limited to 12 months.
If you join the Pethelp+ insurance during the term of the Pethelp veterinary package (no more than 90 days), the insurance will last for 9, 10, or 11 months, depending on how long you have the Pethelp veterinary package. The Pethelp+ insurance and veterinary package will both expire on the same day.
You certainly can. The condition, of course, is that the Pethelp veterinary package must be purchased, a medical questionnaire must be completed, and the pet's age at the time of purchase must be verified (the pet cannot be older than 8 years old).
Yes, you can purchase insurance for all of your pets at the same time. The prerequisites are the purchase of Pethelp veterinary packages for each of them, verification of age for all of them, providing microchip numbers, possession of health books, and passing a medical questionnaire for each pet separately.
No, veterinary services under the Pethelp+ insurance are only available in Polish clinics.
No, dogs who are at a higher risk of injury are not eligible for PetHelp+ insurance.
